CANADIAN ENGLISH LANGUAGE BENCHMARK ASSESSMENT FOR NURSES (CELBAN)

CELBAN is an assessment tool developed by the Centre for Canadian Language Benchmarks (CCLB) in consultation with internationally educated nurses (IENs) and members of the nursing community from regulatory bodies, associations and nursing bridging programs. It was designed to assess the English language proficiency of IENs who are applying for licensure in the nursing profession in Canada.
